Moto Bar
The project transforms a renovated mechanic's garage into a dynamic, community-driven space inspired by the classic industrial aesthetics of a motorsports garage. The design features a blend of steel, concrete, brick, and wood to create an industrial yet welcoming ambiance, paying tribute to the neighborhood's rich automotive history. The venue serves as a vibrant hub for gatherings, dining, and hosting events focused on all things on wheels.
Upon entering, guests are greeted by a contemporary industrial environment. The central bar serves as the focal point of the main gathering space, featuring a concrete countertop atop a corrugated steel base. Above, a custom steel beam light fixture, reminiscent of drag strip "Christmas Tree" starting lights, adds a unique and authentic touch.
The walls are finished with traditional lime plaster beneath blackened steel and expanded metal shelving. These shelves display custom-painted motorcycle gas tanks, helmets, and retail merchandise. The checkered pattern of intermediate expanded mesh panels further reinforces the racing culture theme.
Set to open in 2025, the space will cater to motorsports enthusiasts of all experience levels. It aims to foster a sense of community where guests can share stories, exchange tips, and build lasting connections. Regular meet-ups and events will offer opportunities to discuss the latest in motorsports and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
